In a stitchalong, you make items along with other people to send to charity. Once these get going, there will be two kinds of stitchalongs:

General: Either a charity or an item is assigned. If the charity is assigned, you make whatever you like for that charity. If the item is assigned, you make that particular item, but send it to whichever charity you please. For example: if Pine Ridge Reservation is the assigned charity, you make whatever you wish for the Reservation. If the assigned item is hats, you send your hats to whichever charity you please.

Specific: Both the items and the charity are specified. For example, sending hats to the Pine Ridge charity.

When the stitchalongs start, which will hopefully be soon, there will be general and specific ones to choose from. You can also participate in both, if you please.
